Salt Bodies

“Salt Bodies” is an ongoing photographic exploration of material transformation. Ephemeral forms made of salt, flour and water become settings in which processes of drying and cracking unfold, leading to constant change. The photographs capture these fleeting moments whilst simultaneously exploring the relationships between the body and matter.

Layers

“Layers” examines the transformation of leather through the processes involved in turning raw hides into finished products. Using photographic images, the work explores how material transformation becomes visible and how photography can give form to processes that are in a state of constant change.
