Celestial Bridging is an artistic research project that examines the institutional, perceptual and symbolic arrangements through which death becomes legible under secular modernity. Taking the speculative premise of funerary infrastructures built around black holes and temporally mediated near-death experiences (NDEs), the project investigates how death, sexuality and subjectivity are organized and reproduced through mediation and institutional form. Methodologically, the project combines moving-image, installation and creative writing as co-constitutive research practices, mobilizing what I term "protocol drifts" to destabilize normative structures of perception and interpretation.
