Anna zur Nieden studied Art and French in Münster, Paris and Berlin in the painting class of Prof. Mechthild Frisch and Prof. Fußmann. During her studies she interned at renowned Berlin theaters. Subsequently, she received various scholarships for her artistic work and trained in costume design in London.
Numerous group and solo exhibitions in Germany and abroad followed, as well as costume and space designs for independent theater projects. Occasionally she curates exhibitions with an unusual format. She developed and curated the theater project "FACETTEN – von Jetzt bis Morgen" especially for public space.

The theater project "FACETTEN – von Jetzt bis Morgen" was born from the idea of making public space more usable for the wishes and needs of citizens and to understand it as a place of communication.
Actors and dancers perform scenes at various locations in the center of Lübeck that deal with current social questions about the future.
What influence will other cultures have on us? How will we live together with nature? Which political currents will establish themselves?
We were inspired by the assessments of various experts from the fields of climate research, psychology, medicine, politics and urban planning, among others.
