Harm Coordes lives and works in Berlin and Bremen. Since his diploma at the University of the Arts Bremen (2013) he has worked as a freelance fashion and costume designer, scenographer and artist for the Schwankhalle, the Junge Theater Bremen and the Junge Theater Bremerhaven. In cooperation with local initiatives, he realized the pieces Als der General zu singen lernte (2014) and Menschenherz auf See (2019) with school children, and taught costume design at a comprehensive school.
In 2014, he joined the theatre collective Thermoboy FK, staging shows in Berlin, Bremen, Hannover, Hildesheim, Cologne and Braunschweig. Since 2015 he has been working as a lecturer in the field of experimental fashion design at the University of the Arts in Bremen. He is part of the upper roll blitz bicycle formation and designs stage outfits for artists such as Freeda Beast, Kenichi and the Sun, Tatiana Heuman and machinaEx. He is currently working on the fashion-performance project CHURCH OF THE HAND.
